Kayak Instruction

Adventure Sports of Arlington offers instruction at several beginner to intermediate levels in the Washington, D.C. area. We'll work with you to determine the course that meets your interests, skills, athletic ability, and comfort in a kayak. We will also teach standard ACA flatwater, moving water, and whitewater kayaking courses.

Instruction is free for teachers and all others with a demonstrated interest in the public good, especially if you pledge to join the Potomac Conservancy.

Currently we are teaching only higher level SCUBA courses and refresher courses.  For Basic Open Water SCUBA certification, we highly recommend the following (alphabetical order):
